Approach

Four stages, in the open.

You always know where you are, what comes next and what it will cost. Here is exactly how an engagement runs.

  1. Stage one · Free

    Listen

A free call, usually 45 minutes. We ask about the business, the goal and what has been tried. If we are not the right fit we say so and point you somewhere better.

    What we need

    • Your goals and constraints
    • Who is involved in decisions
    • What has and has not worked

    What you get

    • A short written summary of what we heard
    • A proposed scope and fixed fee, or an honest “not yet”
  2. Stage two · 1–3 weeks

    Diagnose

We look at the numbers, the market and the way work really gets done: documents, data and time with the people who do the work.

    What we need

    • Access to figures and key documents
    • An hour with each key person
    • Someone to answer questions quickly

    What you get

    • A findings report: what is working, what is leaking, what is missing
    • A ranked list of options with cost and effort for each
  3. Stage three · 1–2 weeks

    Plan

We bring you a short list of options, you choose, and we write the plan together: priorities, owners, dates, and what success looks like.

    What we need

    • A decision-maker in the room
    • Honest feedback on drafts

    What you get

    • A written plan you can run without us
    • A one-page summary for the team
    • A 90-day action list with named owners
  4. Stage four · As long as it helps

    Execute

We stay beside you as the plan goes into action: weekly check-ins, hands-on help where useful, and changes when reality disagrees with the plan.

    What we need

    • A weekly slot with the team
    • Permission to change the plan when facts change

    What you get

    • Progress reviews against the plan
    • A handover document so the habits outlast us

Shapes of work

Three ways to work together.

We agree a fixed fee for the scope before we begin. No hourly meter running in the background.

α

Clarity session

A focused half-day to untangle one decision, with a written summary afterwards. Good for a first taste or a single hard question.

β

Project

A defined piece of work with a start, an end and a deliverable: a strategy, a setup, a process redesign, a growth plan.

γ

Ongoing partner

A monthly rhythm of review and support after a project, for teams who want a senior sounding board while the plan runs.

Our promises

What you can hold us to.

  • In writingScope, fee and timeline are agreed in writing before work begins.
  • Plain languageEvery deliverable is written so a new hire could follow it.
  • Straight answersIf the data says the idea will not work, you hear it from us first.
  • You own the workEverything we produce for you is yours to keep and reuse.
