Strategy & positioning

Strategy that picks a direction.

A strategy is a set of choices about what you will do, and what you will not. We help you make those choices with evidence, then write them down so the whole team can follow them.

What you get

Deliverables, not decks.

Everything below is written down and handed to you, in plain language.

  • A written market and competitor read: who else is solving this problem and how you compare
  • A clear positioning statement and the offer that sits behind it
  • Customer segments ranked by fit, with the first one to focus on
  • A 12-month roadmap with priorities, owners and milestones
  • A one-page version you can put on a wall and a longer version you can build from

Who it is for

A good fit if…

  • Founders choosing between several good ideas
  • Established businesses whose growth has stalled without a clear reason
  • Teams about to enter a new market, launch a new line or take investment

Honest limits

Probably not if…

  • You already have a strategy and need help executing it. Operations or Growth is likely the better start.
  • You want a deck for a lender or investor and nothing more. We can help, but we will still ask the hard questions first.

How it runs

A typical engagement.

Timings are typical, not promised. We confirm them in writing after the first call.

Week 1

Listen and gather

Founder and team interviews, your numbers, your customers, your competitors.

Weeks 2–3

Analyse

We test the options against the evidence and bring you a short list, not a long one.

Week 4

Decide and write

Together we choose, then we write the strategy and roadmap in plain language.

After

Check in

A review at 30 and 90 days to see what is working and adjust.

Questions

Good things to ask.

How long does a strategy engagement take?

Most run four to six weeks from first call to final document. If your business is very small or very simple it can be shorter; if there are several business lines, longer. We tell you the likely timeline after the first call.

Do you do market research ourselves or buy reports?

Both. We use public data and published reports where they are good, and talk directly to your customers where they are not. We say which is which in the document.
